Who are they lying to?

 if you have read my other posts, you know that i have had some problems with a certain cat.  well, today i have to report that he is now deceased.  Yes, he was murdered.  

its not like i don't understand just how irritating he could be.  the number of times i wanted to kick his behind to Mars is equal to the distance to the planet.  

so i thought i could make peace with the guilty party but that has been compromised by new evidence.  it seems there is a gang war going on and the cat was just one on the many victims. 

the cat was leading the smaller gang and when he died his gang just disappeared.  or so i thought.  now there have other victims found.  the worse case so far was the next victim who captured and tortured.

eventually dying from his inquires.  his body wo found in a trash heap near the center of the complex,  he was barely recognizable, even to his own parents. now, three have been 3 more victims.  

one body was found squashed in-between several stacks of pallets in a nearby storage area.  one was found at the bottom of the pond just down the road, where another body was found just two days ago. 

oh, i know it could have been an accident.  however, the 2nd scene indicated a huge brutal fight took place.  that would coincide with  a big ruckus we heard about that same time.  what will it stop?  

 

this is copied from his newsletter email.   "I normally try to share some mid-week inspiration, but these stats are so terrible they deserve to be put on blast immediately.  Did you know that over half of college freshmen in America have to take remedial classes before they can even begin their regular coursework? That means that these students are paying—or at least going into student loan debt—for classes that teach things they should have already mastered in high school or before! Of course this huge waste of time and money, is brought to you by the government's monopoly on education. You see, just like any other kind of monopoly, when there is no competition, there is no incentive to improve, and the customer suffers. In this case, government schools don't have to worry about losing students to other schools because they are the only game in town. This lack of competition means that schools have no reason to innovate, no reason to lower costs, and no reason to provide the best education possible. They can simply continue to fail, continue to hire more over-paid administrators, continue to throw more money at failing programs and policies, and suffer absolutely no consequence. They know parents are stuck with whatever they get—especially in times like these of record inflation and a looming recession. It's not like parents can simply quit their jobs and homeschool, or enroll their kids in expensive private schools.  Sadly, these stats aren't even new. I found articles as far back as 2014 highlighting this failure of public ed, and proposing solutions. Obviously none of them have worked since it's been a decade and kids are still getting put on the hook for the failures of those paid to prepare them for higher education and the world beyond.

So how do we change it? For starters, what if we allowed schools to compete for students? What if parents could choose the best school for their child instead of being forced to send them to the school assigned by their zip code? What if schools had to prove their worth to parents and students in order to stay in business? Schools would have to focus on providing a quality education in order to attract and retain students. They would have to find ways to lower costs in order to remain competitive. And most importantly, they would have to ensure that their students were prepared for college and beyond, and suffer potentially going out of business if they didn't.  Essentially, they'd actually be on the hook for providing a good product, and they'd suffer the natural consequences if their customers weren't happy.  Just like any other business. Imagine a world where parents control the money, and can vote with their feet if they aren't satisfied customers. I'm always surprised to see so many people who fully grasp and embrace the concepts taught in Tuttle Twins books (like The Tuttle Twins and their Spectacular Show Business) about competition, monopolies, and the virtues of the free market struggle to see that government schools are a monopoly on education and that they have the same negative outcomes for consumers as any other monopoly.  But it's true! When there is competition, the market provides the best product at the best price. When competition is unnaturally suppressed, the outcome is always an inferior, overpriced product.  Parents and concerned educators may disagree on the best way to allocate funds, or what ideal education alternatives look like, but that's actually a great thing! I love the idea of an educational smorgasbord where every parent can find the ideal education outcome for each of their children. I say the more the merrier!  And in the meantime, as we each work to create an educational landscape full of choice and competition, I hope you'll join other concerned parents and good teachers in using our books to help make up for the failures of the current system.  Our books teach principles that haven't been taught in schools for at least a generation, and sometimes not at all. Concepts like the proper, limited role of government in a free society, natural law, personal responsibility and self reliance, and the unintended consequences of central planning.  Get yours today, and get started preparing your kids for the world in a way that the schools aren't! It may be a battle, but it's one worth fighting. And we're gonna win.  — Connor" i disagree with on one point:  we're gonna win.    why, because there is no guantee. but he is right that its worth the fight, i mean, what is the other choice?

  i know there are dangerous things in the world.  still i do not need you to edit the newspaper, the book or the magazine i read.  

 May Your words fall upon those that slumber, will dwell in peaceful lands. 

 In  1944 a miracle began.   

A new resident moved in to the Old Hallie. It would  only be called that by the original residents of the newly consturcted 27 Hall St.  The Following day, the first day of the New Year, 27 Hall St became 27 March Ave.  The arrival was on New Years Eve, so was nearly unnoticed, but just a few weeks later every one would get to now the occupants of apartment 50, the last apartment in the building to be leased. 

 Just 21 days into the New Year, the occupants of number 50 welcomed two addtional residents to their small castle.  

 for those who are worried about so many guns being available in the us.  you know gun crimes and stuff,  we could send them to the Chinese people who are not leaders, which is just about every body.    so if the guns are the problem we give it to the chines.  if not then the ccp can fix the problem.  i mean they have a better system than we do, right?

we will have to revisit this subject.  before we return we ask this question (amoung others) what is the differences between the groups?

idiots are reproducing at a rate much higher than originally thought. they seem to enjoy the spotlight. 

 well, i was right. the cat is up to something. this morning the cat was stopped by the watch, in our section of the world, the watch is friendly and very polite.  so the officer asked the cat how its day was and it responded with a nasty meow and blinked its cat eye rather rudely.  well, we just don't hear that kind of language around here!  the watch was so taken by surprise that the cat had quietly slipped into a nearby hedge and was nearly invisible. since the cat had not done anything forbidden, the watch continued on their way.  

now you might be wonder why that happened at all.  well, after watch returned from its patrol, it was decided that we should, as a community, see if we could help.  after all, part of our community standard was preventing trouble. so every household would be asked for any applicable information.  that will take some time but in the end it would be worth it if we could prevent something like the fish bowl incident from happening. 

i wont go into the bowl incident here, but we definitely did record that story on the official record of the watch.  for now lets get to efforts the watch and the community went to help the cat, or try, to help the cat.   the first thing you need to know is that the community consist of two cul de sac which are directly across from each other.  we didnt plan it that way, it just happened to end up like that.  the house number are exactly the same.  they start at 1 and go to 5 but we include 75, because he lives on the road that goes between the two cul de sac's.  75 is a mature gentle couple who may be 75 but we have never asked.  they like our kids and they always bring a large donation of meat to our parties.  

now when the cat displayed displayed his temper we thought it could be because at they last party we had ended up with a shortage of hamburger.  there plenty of meat but the cat really liked hamburger.  we never minded that he sometimes took more than his share, after all he was a great organizer.  everyone appreciated his effort getting everybody to commit to being on time and actually bringing what they had promised to bring.  no small feat.  so we always made sure he got a lot of hamburger, which was usually supplied by 75.  (we, and especially, the cat referred to everyone by their house number)

 i think the cat is up to something.  the cat has started to sneak around and spy on the neighbors.  am i responsible for the action of the cat?  

 if there is no God why do so many people try so hard to convince us there is no God?
